Default Oxlite vs Fly

Hi all!! I'm excited that I finally have a valid reason for posting

I’m in the market for a new ramp, and I’m looking for feedback…

I used to have an oxlite and I liked it, but it didn’t fold, which would be pretty convenient.

Fly makes one that folds, but the crossbars look relatively smooth, so I’m a little concerned about traction. Another advantage to this ramp is that it is a little bit longer than the oxlite which is helpful since my truck is a little tall (not lifted, just a prerunner)

Both are rated for 750 lbs. which is more than enough for my bikes. I’d be using it mostly for my dirt bike (CRF150R), but I do take my street bike (R6) to the track occasionally and will need to use it for that too.

Thanks guys!

have you considered an ATV ramp? I have one that I bought at the local Tractor Supply, it folds in half down the length of it, so it unfolds to about 3' wide. Makes it a lot easier to load when I can walk up/down the ramp right next to the bike.

+1 on the ATV ramp concept. The dirtbike should be no problem to push up the ramp, but it would be a heck of a lot easier to either ride the R6 up the ramp (and still have room to put your feet down) or like Joe said, walk up next to it.

The ATV ramp sounds like a really good idea. I'll definitely look into it, cause the only ones that I am familiar with are not curved and are pretty short...

my main complaint with mine is the shortness. Mine is not curved but it doesn't really bother me. Might be a problem with a bike like an R6 though because the transition from ramp to tailgate may be sharp enough to hit the bottom of the bike. Hard to tell though, my SM has about 9" of ground clearance.
