As you guys know about 6 months ago I bought one of the above and have been very very happy with it so far. Just for kicks, I decided to keep track of how well it performs as a timepiece and I could not be happier. I am attaching all points where I checked it including a final tally of how far off it was overall. Have fun.

November 2, 2009: Official time: 20:13:00 watch shows: 21:12:24. Please not I did not change the time for daylight savings to be able to do this. The watch has been worn essentially all the time, it was never left to wind down. (-36 seconds).


Conclusion: So overall, after 6 months of wear, the Hamilton Khakhi Air Race is behind a mere 36 seconds. The widest recorded variation was from +32 seconds to -36 seconds. This happened over five months. I would say that this is about as perfect as one can get for an automatic watch.
